Is anybody on the board familiar with this shop? I just placed a $90 order and now have not recieved an email back from them. I'm just hoping that this is because it is a smaller company and may have to manually acknowledge a transaction rather than have an automatic response. I did have an email chat with one of their employees today regarding fabric availability but that was during regular store hours. Hopefully all will be well as this is a Christmas gift - will check again for an email in the a. m. .

I have ordered from them many of times and have had no problem at all. I want to say the owner's name is Marcia but I am not 100% sure of this. I have always received my order within a few days of the date I placed it. You should call them if you have any questions.

Thanks ladies! I got a really good vibe off the lady I dealt with earlier today - glad to hear I wasn't wrong to place my order!! I will call them tomorrow. I wish I lived close enough to make a trip there - they have a great website!

If your ever interested in a Bernjna machine you should check with Marcia she sells hers for less than most places I went to.She is a very sweet lady and everyone in the shop is great.

Thanks for the tip - but I already own a Bernina and have a great local dealer! It would be quite the road trip to make an expensive purchase - long way from Virginia to Indiana-LOL! Glad to know there are lots of good independent quilt shops going strong across the country! If I ever do make out to Indiana I would love to stop in and see their shop!

I'm on her mailing list. Marcia has been sick, and staff running the shop and mail order. They may be a little behind, but call anyway. They have great customer service!

I don't know the shop but my advice is always give them time and a chance to reply. This is the busiest time of the year and many businesses are really working hard to get their orders out and provide great customer service. You never know how many orders are ahead of yours and not every business sends out an immediate email to verify your order. We just seem to get spoiled by those that have the instant order transaction verification not realizing NOT all companies do this automated process and that is all it is....an automated response by computer not by a living breathing person. People get so used to instant gratification regardless of what form it is in that they get themselves all worried and upset for actually nothing. Almost every online business has a phone number and if anyone is concerned all they have to do is pick up the phone and call them to answer their questions. Can't get any easier than that!

Please call them. This is a small business owner who spends many hours working to make her business sucessful. I am sure there is a reasonable explanation as the shop has a great reputation. pab
