I have the 12" but haven't had a chance to use it yet. I'm still hand quilting for my DGD and I want to finish it before I even THINK about starting my next quilt which will be a churn dash (think I'll enjoy the rotating mat then).

I have both sizes and use them a lot. It just depends on what size block I am working on.

I got the 12 inch and later the 17 Wish I had bought the 17 one first...........I really like that size.
