I want to make a golf themed wall hanging for my mother for christmas. I'd like it to be some what simple. I was thinking of an large applique block with quite a bit of bordering, but I can find anything golf related for applique or even a simple golf embroidery design.

I'm looking for free first, then if I can't find anything for free, I'll look for paid designs, but even those are hard to come by.

I guess if I can't find anything acceptable for golf, I'll settle for Hummingbirds.

If you can help, please let me know, I would really appreciate it!
    Thanks!

Do you have an embroidery machine?

Go check this out. I would get one of this done, specially the one with the golf bag, and all the banners, umbrella and radio, and add a border to it.

I wish I could make it for you, but it is too big for my hoop. I only have a 5 x 7. If there is any other you like, I can help.

I do not have a embroidery machine. Any embroidery I'd have to do by hand. My machine can do it, but it's not big enough to do anything large scale.

Try looking thru clipart. You can Google golf images.

I hope this link works...Here is a pattern for a wall hanging for only $2.63:

is this anything like what you are looking for?

Then there is always golf themed fabric which you could just use for a pieced wall hanging.

I did see that one, and I have considered it. I don't know why, but I didn't think of the golf fabric. I think I have some ideas brewing in my head now!

These are cute and EASY, and you don't really need a pattern. I took a class in this technique.

Take a look at some of the golf quilts:
