Yes Mary, aren't the shape cut rulers great! I also like my 6x24/

Yes, I love them. Really came in handy for the 5 pinwheel quilts I'm working on now. (there are 5 of us kids), using up a lot of my FQ stash. And for my light strips I just kept going and going like the energizer bunny. I figured if I cut extra, they could always be used.

Me too, black is so much easier to see than the yellow rulers. I use the 6.5x24. 6.5 square, and the 4.5 square
You know I think the color thing depends on what color your fabrics are or going to be. For me black would not work as most of my fabrics are very dark. So I guess one should have two different color rulers in that sense one for dark fabric and one for light ones or the one of the Optimas.
