Default Ruler for half hexagon?

I am making a one block wonder and I know that you sew three triangles together first and then attach them by rows. HOWEVER, I always like to make sure that I've got accuracy, so the question is, does a ruler exist where you can "square up" half of the hexi prior to sewing the half-hexi's first? Or do I need to not worry about accuracy with this one? Should I just chill?
Thanks in advance.

I'm sure there is, there is a ruler for everything. LOL I probably have one but which one? If you could see my stack of rulers over there and my drawer full of rulers over here you'd know why I can't remember.

I don't have a clue, but there are lots of nice things you can make without rulers by just being careful when cutting and sewing. Good luck on your project.

You could use a 60 degree triangle ruler, since hexi's are 60 degrees.

I think Fons and Porter has one. They used one in a tv show

Just chill - you really don't need one for this quilt but if you just have to have one I believe that Jaybird Quilts just came out with on that has the full hexie, half hexie and something else. You can check her website.

Fons and porter has a hexagon ruler that also allows cutting of half-hexagons. I saw it on one of their shows.
