I ordered/purchased the 14 inch ruler by mistake. Would some one on here who has the 25 inch ruler measure the width at the top and bottom and let me know the measurement? I am hoping I can just line up another ruler with mine to make it longer. I am afraid the widths might be wrong. Thank you.

mine measures 4 7/8 inches on the 24 inch line. you should be able to make a template for the larger one very easily.

Thank you. Have to mesure mine when I get home from work tonight. Why would I think about it at home, when I can think about it at the office?

forgot to give you the bottom measurement...it's 1" wide on the 3 inch line. Mine is a ten degree wedge, I know that some of the wedge rulers are 9 degrees, so need to make sure which one yours is. In any case, if you lay another long ruler along the side of the wedge ruler, you should be able to extend it for a template...then just mark off the one inch marks for cutting length.

You can buy an extension for the shorter ruler.

I didn't know that. Do you just lay it on the fabric, or does it attach some way?
