    Default Rulers for cutting scraps?

I'm thinking about purchasing a new ruler for cutting and trimming scraps. I currently only have a 6"x24" ruler, which I am finding too big and clunky for moving around a 2" square. Any suggestions which size ruler I should consider buying? What's your favorite ruler?

For really small scraps or pieces I use a 1"x6" clear ruler. Don't remember the brand, I bought 4 of them on clearance at Walmart a couple years ago. Handy little thing to have.

"Collecting" rulers can be addicting....6 1/2" square is good to have for squaring up blocks up to that size, along with a shorter version of the 6" wide ruler....then of course there are triangles, diamonds, hexies, circles........

I have a 5" square ruler I keep nearby if I'm cutting small scraps. Few others also.

The Easy Angle rulers are nice for cutting small sizes. Usually comes in a set of different sizes.

I turn to my 6.5 creative grids square probably more than any other ruler. I use it for cutting down scraps, squaring up and trimming HST and cutting down strips.

    Along with my 12.5" square ruler, I have a 4 1/2 square, a 6 1/2 square, and a 9 1/2 square. I do find these sizes to be really useful. I also have a 3 X 18 and a 6 X 12
