I got home late last night and the first thing I did was open my package. It was worth the wait! I was going to post pictures of the newest members of the stash as requested, but DH left early this morning for an overseas business trip of his own and took the camera. Sorry. You just have to trust me when I say that I am thrilled with everything and now want to order more.

Thanks for the encouragement and support while I was waiting to return. :)

I love batiks and plan to start a new venture with them. Really want to "landscape" quilt using batiks... meaning streams, mountains, trees, old barns, etc. Think that would be a challenge and a lot of applique and paper piecing fun.

I'm not at all artistic when it comes to drawing or painting, so I figure I'll be the only one to recognize my "work of art" !!! but that's okay...

This, by far, is my favorite site for batiks. Try them. ... www.batiks.com

You sure have self-control! You KNOW we are going to want to see pictures when you get back. :-)
