I got an Email yesterday saying all batting at Hancocks was 53% off for their anniversary sale. I dashed down there this morning and got an entire roll of warm and natural. What a buy. I had to get some Tink fabric for a quilt for DGD and my DD found some more fabric for her quilt. What a fun morning.

I have done that too. In my case, they considered the roll of battting to be "one cut of fabric."

I was at Hancock's today and they were having a "blowout" sale. There were lots of deals to be had. They had tables of 40%, 50%, 60% and 75% off fabrics and all their Halloween and Christmas fabrics were 20% - 40% off. I had to hold myself back, but I still managed to buy several cuts of Christmas fabric.

I wish we still had Hancocks here. I worked there when I got out of college back in the late 70s. I didn't make much money, usually had already spent most of my paycheck by the time I got it. I still have fabric in my stash from those days.
