That's what I did for a friend of mine. I went to quilters cache and used blocks with names that were meaningful to his life. Wish I had a picture to show you.
I think it would be fun to find your own blocks that had names that were significant in your life. I would go to www.quilterscache.com /quilt block galore and wander through the block names.
