    Sashing for tshirt quilt

Hello .. I am working on tshirt quilts this weekend. I am wondering what size sashing I should make. Any suggestions? My tshirt blocks are 16-1/2 to finish at 16. What size sashing do you all use? 2"? 1"?

i like to lay the shirts out on the bed and adjust the size of the sash to the size of the bed ...i try to keep the shirts on the bed and add borders to it for the ''drop'' so the more shirts i have the smaller the sash...

I usually use 2" - 2 1/2". My t shirt quilts are all different sizes. It depends on how many shirts I get, and how big they are.

This is going to be a couch throw, so I am not concerned about how the drop is on the bed. But good tip yel.

If I do 2" finished that means I can use a jelly roll. That is something to think about

I use 2-or-3-inch sashing, depending on the quilt...

I've done 2-3", lay it on bed and fold fabric different widths and see which you like but with big squares I wouldn't think you want to go too wide
