Default Scalloped edge-- thanks for tips, and picture of completed group quilt

Several weeks back I posted asking for tips on how to make a scalloped border on a group quilt the women of my bible study were making as a gift. I used the tips and links offered by generous quilters here, and we finished up our project. The recipient loved it, and we were all pleased with the final result (sometimes doesn't happen that way with a group project.) In my opinion, the scalloped border really makes the quilt. We ended up using the ruler from Eleanor Burns and the youtube tutorial from Missouri Quilt Co.

Very pretty quilt and the scallop edges show it off nicely.

Thanks for the compliments. Most of the fabric was from a moda line called Aviary by Three Sisters. We started out with a much different quilt in mind, but it sort of evolved into having the off white background squares, then we decided to add a few appliques, which turned into making a bunch of personal symbol / story behind them appliques. It was really a fun quilt to make, as the woman who we made it for is a very appreciative recipient and noticed and loved all the little details.
