Default Scared to death

So, I went to the NQA show in Columbus, OH today. So many beautiful quilts! Anyway, I was having so much fun test driving the different longarm machines. Well, I ended up buying one - the Janome Artistic. I'm so excited for it to be delivered and set up, but I'm also scared to death that I jumped in too quick. I'll keep you all posted.

Gotta start somewhere... Sounds like you had alot of fun. You only live once so I am glad you dove in and got it rather than regretting never getting one. Have fun with it. Lots of people use charity quilts to practice on so that may be a great idea.

I believe (but I could be wrong) that Tin Lizzie made this machine for Janome. It looks identical to my Tin Lizzie 18 that I got last year. Although you will have many learning curves, as with any new machine, you will have so much fun. Good luck with your new setup and please post pictures for us.

You are absolutely correct. Artistic replaced the Queen Quilter, also made by Tin Lizzie. I have the QQ.
