We recently had a Hobby Lobby come into our area. I went the other day and was surprised at the variety of goods. Of course I ended up in the fabric section :) and was very pleased with the quality...especially a print that was made "Exclusively for Hobby Lobby" Everything was 30% off and I bought 6 yards of differnt prints. I will go back again. There aren't a lot of fabrics, but there is a nice variety.

I love the fabrics at Hobby Lobby. The staff and the manager at our local store are great to deal with which makes it even better.

Dont forget to check the remnant bin and the clearance shelf. You can sometimes get some good deals that way.

Very good fabric and you're right about the variety of good.

Don't forget to check their website every week (Sunday) for a coupon - 40% off any one regular priced item is their most frequent one, but it does change weekly.

You were lucky with the 2" allowance. Most of the time they cut mine right at the mark and sometimes it comes up short if there is more than 1 yd.

I think I've got Joann's and Hobby Lobby figured out -- the lower quality fabric is on the wall and the higher quality namebrand fabric is on the floor.
