I wish it was my scissors. They don't seem to get lost. I lose my glasses. I take them off because I see better without them when doing close up work, and I'm nearsighted. The seam rippers seem to walk off in a different direction when I put them down.

I no longer have them tethered to my machine as I have learned to put them down right by my machine when I am done snipping threads. LOL - Hahaha - just like a dog on a leash! The scissors/snips - not you! Hahahaha!

I had to laugh at this thread. When my oldest daughter was a toddler she used to play with my keys. I had to buy one of these key fobs. Mine when you whistled it would beep. good thing it did because she used to drop my keys in the trash - under the couch, etc.

I have at least 10 pairs... I try to keep one by each machine and one on the ironing board, but every once in awhile, they all end up in the same place. I recently moved my studio, and have a big pottery thing that they are all in... and I have been really good about tidying up every time I am done sewing. It's so nice to sit down to sew and NOT have to clear a space before I can start

It wasn't until I got a pegboard that I started keeping track of my scissors, rotary cutters, and seam rippers. I make it a point to hang them up when I'm done using them. It's been kinda nice to be able to find them when I need them (but I really, really LIKE buying scissors and get them at Joanns far too often!). :-)
