    me too . it`s amazing how much you can use if you have the time to piece it together. When you are on limited income it all helps .

    Crumb quilts, selvedges, now batting - we seem to be getting back to the true, frugal spirit of quilting! Thankyou for all the tips on here. I keep tiny pieces of batting to use for stuffing toys or cushions, but the slightly bigger pieces were piling up. Never thought of using the machine to sew them together, or interfacing. Great ideas.
