I had a bucket full of scraps that I was going to dump. Somehow I just didn't do it lol....then one rainy day, I dumped the bucket on the floor and started to sort through it. I picked out the larger pieces and proceed to make random blocks out of Block Base, that I also posted somewhere. I made a butterfly, the fish block, a snails trail, 9 little monkey wrenches that I put into on large block. Then I took all the bits and peices and just sewed them any which way and inserted a block here and there.

I like this little quilt and I am so glad that I didn't dump the scraps. I have quilted it and did the binding just now. It measures 51x61, a good lap throw.
That's FABULOUS!

i am so happy you shared such a wonderful little quilt- and showed others what a few scraps can turn into! it so stresses me out to hear of people throwing away their scraps- i was always taught to be frugal- and what i can not use- (or more like don't want to use) i simply share with others. i love your quilt! and i love where you (shopped )

I love your quilt. I also love what I call "free quilts"--quilts made from what many throw out (though I never toss anything larger than 1-1/2" square.
