    Seamsters Help with Laptop/Handbag pattern

Wanting to make a laptop/Handbag for a plane trip in November. Has anyone found a pattern that has a "wallet-type" pocket on the front of a handbag? I'm looking to make a bag that will accommodate my laptop but really be a handbag. There are many for sale but tend to be heavy and large. I also want to have a cross-body strap so that I will be hands free. Thank for your input.

When taking my laptop, I like to travel using a backpack, that way my hands are free. Inside the first zippered pocket, I use a simple slip-in card style wallet that is easy to pull out for id use and credit card use.
