This was just too tempting... got the book from Amazon, for $0.93.
<sigh>
My downfall... something that is quilt-related... and a book.

Thanks. I did order the book. Hopefully, I can modify/adjust the templates for rotary cutting. We just purchased a new home, furnished, and the bed in the master bedroom is king size. All my quilts are queen size. So, now I have a reason to make another quilt (not an EXCUSE - a reason) and fell in love with this pattern. I do appreciate all the suggestions especially the link to the older posts for the Colorado Log Cabin and the layout instructions. Wish me luck, converting patterns is certainly not my strong suit!

You can do it, and I see why you love it. So beautiful would love to try it but is above my skill level .....for now. maybe in a few months of making some simple quilts, when my tringles actually meet with points. cant wait to see the finished project.

This discussion gives me cause to organize my books. And my patterns. I guess to organize them by author like a library would be the best. I know I have all those books here somewhere.

I'm pretty sure I have that book. Somewhere. Went to my bookcase and started going through it. Didn't find what I was looking for, but did find two copies of two different books -- all of them like new.

I used the pattern from EB to make mine a very long time ago. I used green and yellow, kind of John Deere and set it in the 'fields and furrows' version.
Can't go wrong with Eleanor.
