Ladies, start your sleighs!
Secret Santa will be commencing in just a short time.
Get your little gadgets out that you've been saving all year for so you can whisk them away to far and near places for the holiday.
Remember...it's just a small gift (not to exceed $20 and 4 fat quarters.)

I'll be posting more soon.

This is just an FYI for you all to get ready.

Should be a fun time this year. We have alot of new people on the board, along with the "oldies, but goodies" who are just itching to join in the fun.

Stay tuned!

Terri
I want to participate! I will hit my favorite quilting shop the next time I am at the lake in Eufaula, Oklahoma. She has great stuff! Check her out at www.longtownquiltshoppe.com

Wendy, don't worry. Sign up and join the fun.
I will be happy to take your gift.
As a matter of fact, I'm looking forward to it

Oh, you new guys just HAVE to join in the fun. You won't believe what goes on before, with the people asking for hints, then the hiding of the packages by hubbies so they are NOT opened up early. And then the REVEAL day is just a hoot. Remember, we are in all different time zones, so we will be getting Geography lessons along the line too! Then there are those that get themselves so busy on Reveal day that they forget all about it. Can you imagine that???? And if you have pets, they get to join in on the fun. They love sniffing of the package when it comes in. My 2 dogs smelled Tinkerbelle (aka Tinks Mom) on the package and I had to keep moving the box so they couldn't get to it. Little did I know there was a treat hidden inside for them. So brace yourselves for a fun and cheery ride.

My pleasure Happy Tails.
And when I said "take" your gift. I meant "receive" ) )

I would like to join as well, but there is smoking in my house. Yes, I agree that the smoke can cause things to smell, but I also know that there are ways to keep things from having a smokey smell. That being said, I would like to join in.
I don't mind receiving a package from a smoker. Actually, I would prefer to receive mine from one. Good old tobacco helped feed me as a child and build this great state I live in.
This was NOT meant to offend any one, please don't take it that way. Remember, this about Christmas and we would be naughty if this turned into a debate!
Count me in!
How do I correctly go about joining in?
Thank you and God Bless,
Penny aka Country1

Stay tuned!
I'm hoping next week to have all the rules tweaked and everything done that needs to be done for people to sign up.

As to the smoking issue....I will handle that. I don't think we need to beat this into the ground. I understand that there are people who smoke and those that don't. There are people that don't mind smoke and those that do. It also goes along with those that can't have peanuts/chocolate, etc, etc.
Those sorts of things will be handled once I get the "form" out so everyone can put their concerns down on that.

So, can we drop the smoking issue for now and have a bit of fun?

OK, WHO'S GOT THE COOKIES? I'M ACTUALLY WANTING BROWNIES?
REMEMBER, I CAN BE BRIBED!!!!

I cannot wait to try this. It will be my first swap ever. I can send to Canada, it is slow but not expensive. I do it all the time. I can be matched with smokers, dog owners, cat owners...anything goes! So exciting!

I can do brownies too. I also make those peanut blossoms with the kiss in the center of a peanut butter cookie. I also make coconut macaroons. I also make those pecan butter cookies, forget what they are called, but they are great. Place your orders ladies, and I will try to accomodate.
