Default seeking advice

I'm looking to buy a new steam iron, just for sewing and quilting...don't have a ton of money, so an Oliso is out of the question. Any suggestions for $50 or so...

My small guild that sews together 5 days a month has purchased several irons over the years. The one we like best and that has lasted the longest is the Black and Decker Digital Advantage iron.

I got mine at Costco for $49, and it works like a charm. I bought it because the price was right and I did not regret it.

Of all the irons I have had, Shark, GE, Hamilton Beach etc. B&D has always been the best!!

I bought a Sunbeam Steam Master at a garage sale. So far I like it and it was cheap. I don't know what they cost new, or if you can even get this model anymore, but I do like it fwiw.

We have had many, many discussions on irons, if you want to use the search feature. I like my Black and Decker Digital Advantage. Not so much the Rowenta. Leaky.

I just bought the Black and Decker at Wal-Mart for 20 dollars. If it lasts a year or two, I'll get another. Now I have one upstairs and one down. I've purchased 3 or 4 expensive irons to have them drip all over the place.
