Welcome to the Quilting Board!

If you had to purchase "mottled" fabric, what would you be buying?
I would assume that it would mean tonal or tone on tone fabric but without a pattern. Moda Marbles comes to mind, but there are many others available I am sure.
Yes, I agree with MamaBear61 - moda marble style fabric is what comes to mind.
Kaufman Fusions, Moda Marbles, Wilmington Essentials (with the scrolling) there are several great fabric lines out there!!!
If you're looking for blenders, try www.marshalldrygoods.com. I just purchased some from there, very reasonable.
All of these as well as some batiks and hand dyes :D:D:DOriginally Posted by Jim's Gem
I love Moda Marbles. They are great blender fabrics.Originally Posted by sue38

Northcott has a group called "Stonehenge" that has speckly-mottled fabrics. Supposed to look like stone, but the line includes bright colors, too, not just beige and brown. They're very texturally interesting.
If you go to www.annsfabricsandcrafts.com you can look at a piece of mottled fabric. I think it is a red, but it will give you an idea of what it looks like. Good Luck.
