I had 8 due dates in May - worse than Christmas! Six are done and working on the last two - almost done.

who needs sleep when we can quilt to relax! It's overrated anyway, right? If this is an obsession, don't put me in rehab!

I've analyzed this and think we all suffer from OCQD (obsessive compulsive quilting disorder). I don't think it has a cure and hasn't been written up in any medical journals (YET). The only thing that seems to help is to quilt, quilt, quilt!

Four-year-old grandboy staying with us for the next two weeks - he's sleeping soundly now, so I sew, sew, sew

Is this a disease? Am I obsessed or possessed?[/QUOTE]

I definitely have OCQD and the sub disorder that often accompanies it, CSB (Compulsive Stash Building). I understand they are looking into treatments for the OFP and CSC (Obsessive Fabric Petting and Chronic Scrap Collecting) but I am not willing to trust my health and well being to any of these new off the wall (I put things ON the wall- the design wall) things they keep coming up with.

I agree with you, wildyard (got one of those too, but that's another chapter). I'm not a guinea pig, so they won't be doing any of the preliminary trials on me! LOLOL! I also have OFP and CSC. Hubby caught me petting my fabric and threatened to call the dingbat police. I told him to go ahead, but my sewing machine and fabrics go with me!

If there is a cure - Please don't tell me about it!!! I love this disease and don't want to get over it!
