Hi,
I want to make 9 Inch blocks which i will be adding wadding and backing to each individual block but then this is where i have the problem,,How do i sew the blocks together without the stitching being shown on one side.????

One method I know is to sew the top pieces together with right sides together, then on the back - lap one side over the other and hand stitch it down. You may go to Georgia Bonesteel's website or google "Lap Quilting" for clearer instrutions.

You may even go to the top of this board and do a search and find something.

You have to hand stitch one side (usually the back). That's why I don't make those kinds of quilts; can't handle all the extra hand stitching!

On Fons and Porter yesterday they used an inch wide rickrack and sewed it down across the seams They said you could use fabric or whatever maybe even grosgrain ribbon
