Thou shalt not sit in front of the TV all day doing nothing but shall strive all thy days to create beauty from chaos.

Thy shall not comment on my chaos and all the beauty that can be created from it.

I think I have done most of these. I did do a lot of chuckling while reading this.

And its corollary: Thou shalt apply the rough side of the interfacing or fusible web to the fabric, and not to your ironing board or press cloth. Don't ask me how many times I've fused things to my press cloth.

I have that same machine. Why would a company make such a dumb machine. Is there anyone out there who knows how to change the default and keep that needle in the center?
What machine are you talking about? All of the machines that I have all have the needle in the center of the plate.
It's a Brother 2800. annoying as all get out!
Same thing with my Brother. I am going to call them on Monday and ask if it is possible to change it. I think their idea was to keep most of the seam fabric under the foot.
I just started a new thread that answers this question. You will find it here - http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-159678-1.htm

It's my Brother CS6000i that has the Left side default. I just found another thread that says that on some Brother machines the default can be changed. Hoping mine is one of them!
