Default Sewing machine foot, does anyone know about this one?

I just received my new Brother PQ1500s sewing machine several days ago. I love the machine but am not really crazy about the 1/4" piecing foot that came with it. Has anyone ever heard of a "1/4 Left or 1/4" right compensating" foot. I was look for a foot that has the little quide going down the size of the foot to assist you in keeping a tight 1/4" seam. I have looked on ebay but all I see are these "compensating" feet, either right or left in 1/8", 1/4" 1/2" etc. Anyone know what these feet do? Thanks!

SA170 Spring Action Guide Foot (PQ Series) 3PC 2MM,5MM,8MMThe SA170 set, was adapted especially for use on the Brother PQ-series machines and includes three sizes - 2mm, 5mm(1/4th inch), and 8mm. These convenient feet are equipped with durable metal guides that hold the fabric securely for perfect edge-stitching and topstitching, yet are equipped with spring action for easy transition to standard sewing. The guides are self leveling, there is no need to change feet to change sewing operations. These feet are inspired by the industrial compensating feet.

I have this set. I probably wouldn't have bought them at regular price but a friend of mine got them at an auction for a few dollars. I use the 1/4" (5mm) foot the most.

Babylock makes a 1/4" foot with guide that will fit your machine. I runs about $15.00. To use the foot just keep ypur needle in the center needle position. And it is a snap on!

Thank yo BellaBoo, that is exactly what I was looking for. I have found a dealer in my area that has them in stock. Always get the right answer here on the board!
