I have the H,Viking Sapphire 830 and every once in a while when I start to sew it does a few stitches then the needle jumps to the right.
I cleaned out the bobbin, replaced my bobbin, replaced my thread and it usually works but not this time. I even replaced the needle and it still jumps to the right and says the motor is overheated. Very frustrating.
Does anyone else have this problem?

Sounds like it might need a trip to the hospital :(

before you spend the money at the hospital, try joining one of these groups. you can post your problem with your email address and sooner than later someone who had that problem will get in touch with you. use a username and you're good to go. i have found these forums very helpful.

Just tried to sign up for that site and it was so hard I gave up.
It took forever to find a name then they wanted another one so gave up.
I did manage to fix my machine. Changed every thing again and it worked this time.
    Thanks for your info.
