I was given tons of samples and don't know what to do with all of it. some is light weight and some is heavy. Any ideas would help.

Thanks

Use flannel as the backing and just quilt them together, or make into shopping bags. Good for anything "heavy" duty.

I have used upholstery fabric to cover toss pillows and floor pillows.

How big? I'd be making myself some more backpack purses if they were mine.

The heavy material makes wonderful placemats, too. Or mug rugs.

Or doggie blankets.

Or "sit-up-ons" like we used to have in scouts. Little flat floor cushions.

Or throw pillows

Or outdoor tablecloths.

or...............

Someone on board posted purses and/or totes made with upholstery fabrics. Really great looking items. Try on the search and see if you can find them, I don't remember the topic.

Patchwork bags and purses. Google Moda Bake Shop. There is a wide selection of nice projects using small fabric pieces.
