Darning foot vs Walking foot

Anyone know how I know if I should use a darning foot, or walking foot for fmq? I do have a feeddog cover if I use a darning foot.

Darning foot for FMQ. Walking foot for straight lines and gentle curves.

a darning foot is used for FMQ and a walking foot is used mostly for SID. Hope this helps.
