My hands are dry and cracking. Is there a good lotion to use while sewing?

Udder Cream is good. Doesn't leave a greasy feeling on your hands. You can get it at Walmart. As a cross stitcher I used it a lot and didn't have to worry about it leaving anything on my fabric.

I say Udder cream as well...but I also have found that the GOOD medicated gold bond hand lotion is amazing! I can even hold a needle and hand sew after using it!

Slather Vaseline on your hands & wear cotton gloves to bed. My hands feel & look a lot better after doing this. There's no need to worry about it getting on your fabric. It has all been absorbed by morning.

A great lotion for dry/cracked skin is Freederm Eczema Cream. In the advertisement, it looks too good to be true, but it works great! My skin was so bad, my hands would crack & bleed. My face was constantly a raised bumpy rash. The difference was noticeable in a couple of days. I've been using it for 5-6 years now. It's great stuff!

You can also use Stitcher's Lotion by yarntree.com It is great for needle pointers, since it does not leave a residue on canvas, which can yellow over time. I actually prefer it to udder cream.
