I sewed a seam on a cream piece of fabric & the seam was larger than I wanted so had to rip it out. Now the needle holes show on the fabric. What can I do so you don't see them?

Usually wwhen the fabric is washed the holes will close up. You might try just spraying that part with water and ironing it, too.

I just spray a little best press or light starch and gently iron and they are gone. I use light colored fabrics a lot.

If its a batik they may never dissappear. Any tightly woven fabrics ,will have a hole if a large needle is being used , as it breaks or punctures the fibers rather than passing between the fibers.
Most regular quilting fabrics will "heal" the hole if some water and steam is applied
Do check your needle size , as you may be using one that too large for the fabric.

I usually take my fingernail & run it over the holes & they usually go away.

I drag the tip of a pin or needle over the hole a few times, sometimes in a few different directions. With most fabrics, that will take care of it easily.

Yep, fingernail or something dull drug over the holes to close up.

Dampen and press a little.

This seems to work well with batiks.

Perhaps in future use a smaller needle and finer thread for piecing. I use a 70/10 and a YLI 60 wt thread.
