went to joanns yesterday & bought a j.t shaoe cutter w/ my 40% off .has anyone used one & if so do you like it?[late to ask now i guess !!!]i have fybro & arthrits in my hands &need all the help i can get ! also found a hi=intensity lamp onclearance from $69.99 down to $19.99 !!!!! LOVE it !

Have it and have used it for years!!! This is, except for cutting borders, the only things I use. You'll love it!!

I have one and love it. They do slide so I put sand paper dots on the back of mine and I don't cut more than 4 layers with it. :-D

awesome, where do you find your sand paper dots?

Years ago before the non skid plasitc came out I bought them from Joannes' I think. They are just little sandpaper dots with adhesive on them. Work great. You could just use regular sandpaper, cut out your dots and glue them on somehow.

If you look in Joanne's you will probably find them in the quilting section. Almost any quilt shop will carry them.

you can get sand paper with sticky back and use a paper punch .. then just peel and stick
