Default Shipping Basting Spray

I know some post offices have different rules, but has anybody ever tried to mail basting spray before? I know they've asked me if the contents are flammable, but I've never had to say yes. So, I don't know what they would have said.

Thanks

The companies that sell the stuff ship it, but I'm not sure if it is via UPSP or UPS/Fedex.

I don't think you can mail it via post office. It has to be shipped via UPS GROUND and cannot be shipped via air. Here is a link to a place that sells basting spray, with the limitations:

If you ship it USPS ( post office) it has to go ground and have special labeling on it - use to be called Orm D , check with your local Post office for all the details

Not just for USPS. Has to be ground whether it's USPS, FedEx, UPS...all of them. That's why you can't send it to Canada...no ground transport.

When I have order basting spray, it always has been shipped UPS, and is stated by the seller.

it is a hazardous (explosive) item and has to be labeled as such "ORMD".

If it's not placarded and there's a problem the liability falls back onto the shipper. I ran a chemical warehouse for years and had to pass a test each year to have my shipping/handling certification renewed. ALWAYS tell the shipping company exactly what's being shipped and fill out the proper paperwork.
