What more could a girl ask for? More time would be good. My daughter and niece (both 15) were with me and they are not quilters they just wanted the chocolate at the Chocolate Festival that was also being held. 7 shops in all. Yesterday we hit 3 of them in a neighboring town about an hour south of us and we also went to Hancock Fabric. Bought a few new patterns and the girls found patterns and fabric to make purses. Should be fun, I get to teach both of them how to sew. Today the remaining 4 shops. We started bright and early. Dropped the dog at the groomer at 8 drove an hour the opposite direction from yesterday (north) for 1 shop. The girls said that shop had GREAT cookies. Came back, went to the shop in our town, also bought a bobbin rack for my accessory case at the local Bernina store (not on the hop). We ate lunch, picked the dog up took him home. Then we drove east for 2 more shops. Then came the chocolate festival. If it was chocolate they had it. Did you know Dove chocolate does home parties! They bring chocolate to you! The we went to Michaels for scrapbooking for the girls. Finally home! I'm tired. Wish I could do it some more tomorrow but I guess tomorrow will be sewing :)
