Should I buy a used Janome MC 10001??
Hi friends!
I recently saw an ad on craigslist advertising a Janome MC 10001 for $500, all accessories, books and over 100 spools of thread included. I currently have the Janome Magnolia, and have been looking to upgrade. Doesmthis seem like a good deal? Or should I holdmoffmand save up for a new model from my local dealer? I appreciate all of your thoughts!

I bought mine third hand. A friend bought it from a lady who had only used it twice. My friend had it for about six months when she passed away. I bought it from her husband. It's great because I have a lot of fun with it and it reminds me of my friend daily. Not sad thoughts but all the happy quilting times we had. Like others said test drive it. If you have a friend who embroiders take her with you. Good luck and I hope you get it because they are so much fun.
BTW I paid $2000 for mine. Australian prices.

Try it out if you can. The new Janome12K is selling for in the $10K rangel. It does have a lot of new things so it depends on how much you will use it. The 10001 is good, I had the 10K and upgraded it to the 10001 and liked it. At $500 and if it works, make them prove it, buy it and run.
