I don't know what to do.... And need your help.

I will be going to Fl to visit friends in March. They are having a big St. Patrick's Day party during the time we will be there. I want to make some mug rugs for the party with FMQ Shamrocks and Pots of Gold on them.

Now.... should I do this or just keep working on my UFO's as I promised early January. I only have 3 that are not finished.

Should I put my UFO's aside for the short time or not. It should not take me very long to make the mug rugs.

(I am feeling very guilty about this- Please help me decide.)

Work on both. Maybe an hour on the mug rugs and then work on UFO's best of both projects:)

I agree, do both! Let someone else do the laundry and kitchen, LOL! :D

I would make the mug rugs since they are for a specific reason. Get them done, then go back to the UFO's.

You know we're a bunch of "enablers" here! Sounds like you could slip in a small feel-good project and still have the inspiration to get back to your UFOs. I vote . . . GO FOR IT!

Do the mug rugs - everyone needs a break now and then.

I would do a little of each - work on a UFO for awhile, then work on a mug rug. They should be fairly quick projects, and the little feel-good jolt of having finished something will give you more energy for your UFO's.

It sounds like a great project. I would make the mug rugs. The UFOs will be there when you finish.

Well, you have talked me into it. LOL At least to work on both at the same time.

I went searching and found enough green stash to make a ton of them. (I know that I have a mess of left over batting for these little guys too.) I only need to look to be sure I have enough gold thread for the quilting, but that's no biggie.. I can pick that up after the rugs are done.

I love it when I can use my stash.... So the only extra outlay on this project will be my time. My friends who will be putting us up for the week in FL are so worth it!

Thanks everyone... I knew I could count on you to steer me in the right direction.
