I think the sleeve is for the quilt that is before it on the pattern page.

Looks like you put the quilt (from the pattern before) in the sleeve. What kind of bag is this?? Sounds unusual to me...but cute

This is my first time to see this pattern and I looked over the instructions closely. I think it looks confusing. Maybe it is one of those patterns that is easier to understand if you are making it as you are reading the instructions.

I am with Grammynan, I do not see a point for the sleeve.

I've not made it before but if you want to make it for me I'll surely use it. Its a cute pattern. :thumbup:

The bag doesn't look too hard. The sleeve is on the bottom of the bag. These are a travel set and the sleeve is so you can roll up the quilt and slide it into the sleeve. I wouldn't want to do that, but it might be handy to stow a small travel folding umbrella. I think I would just make it without the sleeve.
