I have just received the 12 1/2 simpli-ez ruler
and I am in heaven again the numbers are in black and red and very easy to read the numers are not small but med so that u can see also if u have had trouble in getting that 3 7/8 then this is the ruler to have the ruler is by Darlene Zimmerman I got them from Fabric depot using there 30%off ..It is nice to see again

I have one also, and like it alot better than the Omnigrid. I don't like the yellow on that one.

I got the yellow Omnigrid rulers, then went to the green before I realized how hard it was to see the fabric. Noticed that even though the green and yellow were visible to the eye, I still struggled with viewing the fabric. I picked up a Creative Grids ruler at a LQS and liked it. So I began replacing the Omnigrids with Creative Grids, I can easily see the fabric and have less mistakes in cutting. I also like their accuracy, too.

i have astigmatism issues and find the fluorescent rulers to be the easiest for me to use.
