I found a garage sale sewing machines, a sewing touch and sew model 600E and it was made according to the manual, 1964.
My question is, I need to replace the bobbin case, because it is broken in half, and I want to make sure before I do that the fancy stitches will work. Is there any way to do that? It appeared that it would not do zig zag it just did straight stitch. Is it worth spending 12 dollars for a new bobbin case do you think? I just want it for the cams and fancy stitches, I already have 4 straight stitcher's. I do not need another one. Here is the bobbin case I would like to get, would it fit?

I would spend the 12 bucks!
You need it to not only wind the bobbins, but to sew too! The Touch N Sew takes these flat looking bobbins and have to be wound by the machine. You can't wind them on a Sidewinder.

I have a Touch N Sew. One of the originals that came out. Was my moms and that's what I mainly learned to sew on. Right now it sits in the cabinet looking pretty. It hasn't been used in over 20 years that I can think of, so it needs a really hefty cleaning.

There are 3 or 4 different Singer Touch and Sew bobbin cases. Make sure that you buy one that is specific for that machine. If you want to make sure that it does the stitches, just make sure that the machines needle shaft can move side to side, like a zigzag. Put the machine into the stitch that you want to do and put a stiff piece of fabric or sheet of notebook paper under the pressure foot. after setting up the stitch, width and lenght, turn the hand wheel FORWARD not backwards, and make the machine work thru the design.
Good Luck....

I used to have a Touch and Sew. I recall that older Singer machine needles are different from Schmetz and the other needles used in newer machines - maybe in all Singers, tho' I'm not sure about the newer ones. I was told to not use Singer needles in my first computerized machine by the dealer who knew that I had been using a Touch and Sew.
