Default Prairie Pointer Pressing Tool - Anyone have one??

I am considering getting one of these as I like how nice and crisp the prairie points look when made with it. Does anyone have one? Has anyone used one? I know I can make prairie points without it but mine never come out as nice! Any input would be appreciated!

Here is a video of how to use it http://www.piecesbewithyou.com/patte...ter_detail.htm

I like them made the regular way just fine. No gadget needed and more $ for the pretties. Knowing me, I would probably have it in a real safe spot and never find it again either. *eye roll & sigh*

Quite honestly, it looks like one of those gadgets that seem really cool when you first see it, so you buy it, use it once or twice, and then it keeps getting shoved further and further into the pile of other gadgets you never use..... just saying - you asked!

I like to practice my skills with out so many gadgets. With some practice you'll get nice crisp points.

I have never seen it before, but looks kind of cool. I don't know if I would buy it as I have made them for years without it.

How about using your 6" square ruler......measure down from one corner and put a strip of painter's tape across and you have the same thing. It is so easy to have too many rulers/gadgets.

Yes, I have one and it works great. Susan Cleveland spoke at my guild several months ago and, after seeing her quilts, I had to have this tool. It's made of metal, though, so you just have to be careful as it can get hot.
