A month or so ago I created a post about looking for a size M bobbin winder for my Tin Lizzie. I tried a Sidewinder, but it didn't do a good job.
cheryl222 suggested a K-Kraft bobbin winder

Thanks for the info. I also have a Tin Lizzie and I use the winder on my machine but if that does not work for some reason, I'd need Plan "B".

The bobbin winder on my Tin Lizzie overwound and I couldn't get it adjusted. A "good" wind was when it over wound about 10 yards that I'd have to throw away. A bad wind would add the 10 yards then wrap around the spindle for another 10 or so. i got tired of standing in back of my machine watching the bobbin winder... I also didn't like the fact that you had to run the machine to wind the bobbin.

I agree...I wonder who came up with that idea! And if you are not really careful, you end up chewing through your bungee cords. You would think after paying that much for your setup, they would have a BETTER method of winding a bobbin!!!
