Thread: size for tv watching quilt

    What size do you like your tv, reading, or snoozing on the couch quilt to be? This would be for someone who is about 5'4".

    I am 5'4" and I usually make mine at least 60" square.

    I'm 5'3" (every little bit counts!) and 60-65" square is perfect for me.

    About 50" square is adequate for me (about 5'5" ).

    I'd aim for at least 45" wide, prefer 54" and 72" long. Enough to tuck the feet under

    I usually make them around 60" square. you can use it on the diagonal to cover up completely or just use it as a lap quilt.

    I'm 5'4" and I like 60x90 also. It works for my DH at 6'1" that way too. I buy 2.5 yards of fleece for batting, works perfect.

    Lap quilts: I aim for putting borders so quilt is at least 48 - 50" wide and about 60" long.
