Sizzix big shot and big shot pro questions!

I have finally got the big shot pro and don't have time to get use it yet!
But after much reading, investigating as it were...I am not sure I will need the big shot. If the pro uses all the dies, what is the point of the little machine?
keep in mind that I also have the original sizzix machine for small dies, embossing, etc, and I have the Ellison letter machine pro for small to large items also.
I am beginning to think at this point that the big shot will be unused and not really needed now!
Do you have a BSP and if so do you need the BS little guy?
