DH had to work Saturday morning, so I decided to play with some ideas I saw on this board. Here is a sample of my "playing."

I tried the French Rose clipped and not clipped - like the not clipped better. Not too happy with my rose shapes. Does anyone have a template for the French Rose? I tried to just make 'splotches' but they didn't quite do it.

Also tried out the Trapunto technique posted here last week. It is really easy (and I used regular thread and had to pick out the stitches.) So now I am going to buy water soluble thread.
