Does anyone have this new toy? Do you like it? Hate it? Not worth the money? How many designs do you get with it? I just saw it in the new Fons & Porter's Love of Quilting.

This is the same concept at the Cricut. It will cut fabric as long as you have stabilizer on the back of the fabric and have it stuck down real well onto the mat. I have the Cricut Expression and use it to cut applique pieces and it works great especially since you have so many options for cutting different shapes. In my opinion, the Cricut is a better deal that the Slice.

I guess if one has the patience to have one design cut out at a time....it's cute and it's cool that it's cordless. But, I think too small and limiting for my needs.

I'm from the old school of quilting. I look at all those new cutters and think, wow, I can buy lots of fabric with that money. So I still cut my own way. Seems like all those cutters are turning quilting into a scrap booking type art.
I think all the new "ideas" are for those who have not as much time to quilt. WIsh you all luck, they do look interesting. I'm an old dog and not into new tricks. I'll watch from the porch. ♥♥
