    Snowball & periwinkle star quilt

I have my grandmother's quilt and have been told the pattern is snowball & periwinkle star quilt. Anyone hear of this and can tell me where I could find it. My DIL is having our 2nd grandchild and wants a baby quilt for our granddaughter, due December 21, 2015. Very excited.

Can you post a picture of the quilt? Periwinkle and Snowball are the names of 2 quilt common quilt blocks. I'm wondering if the pattern is "Snowball periwinkle" or if the quilt is a combination of the 2 blocks.

if you make all the background white, it will look like a snowball in the middle. Try googling it as periwinkle star and snowball and you should get some pics.

The periwinkle block, which is also known as the Arkansas Star block, can be made a couple of different ways.

MSQC also has the same pattern and a video. Jenny calls it the periwinkle.

There are 2 copies on the video list.you need the second as the first has mistake which is so unusual for Jenny. She correct as soon as she knew and made another video. It is made paper piecing if I remember correct.

I was convinced I had pressed to add with quote about a video onMSQC site.called periwinkle.
