I am afraid my beloved Elna's Quilters Dream is reaching her old age and may quit on me, so I want to be prepared. I want something similar, no embrodiery unit.(I have one I want to sell).
My question for you is:
Do any of you have the Babylock Quilters Choice, and would you buy it again? What am I looking at for cost? I need to stay at or under $1000.00.

Hi,

I own three Babylock machines, although I do not have the Quilters Choice, I had a Decorators Choice and that is very similar.....loved it!
I do have an Ellure and it's a fabulous machine, use it every day at the LQS I work at doing samples.
I also have two bigger Babylocks, an Elegante 2 and the new Symphony.
I think you'd really be happy with the Quilters Choice, my machines have all been trouble free.

I have the BabyLock Crafters Choice. Love it. I have had it for almost a year. I am trading it later this week for a Quest Plus, because the Quest Plus has the Dual Feed. Feeds from top and bottom. Much better for quilting. Last years model/ $999.00
Very anxious to get it. My sister has a Quilters Choice and loves it.

I have the Decorators Choice and I'm happy with it. It was being discontinued so I got it at a very good price.

I have the Babylock Quilters Choice Professional and really love it. I got it just over 2 years ago. I think it was about $1200.00 at that time.

If you haven't bought yet, the time may be coming. The Quest Plus is due to be replaced by the Serenade and may be available at a better price. I paid too much ( $1300) for mine, but love it. Just look at the similar machines-Pfaff Smarter C1100Pro, Elna 7300, and Janome 6600 first to make sure you love your choice.

I want the free arm and the janome 6600 does not have one. The price I was quoted over the phone for the Quest Plus does seem a little high at $1350 or there abouts. I was hoping for closer to $1000 -$1200. I don't have time to go to the shop until the 31st. Can't help but wonder if there might be a sale in the middle of Janurary.
