I have what I need, enough projects to keep me busy til next year, and am going to try NOT to buy any more fabric until the new year --- unless this one fabric comes in that I loved but didn't buy because I didn't know what to make with it. Now I have two things I want to make with it and we are out of it. I say "we" because I work in the fabric department! Talk about hard NOT to buy fabric! Wish me luck!
Have a great Black Friday whatever your plans are --- I have to work, otherwise I'd stay home --- and quilt.

isn't it good news to realize that you have all the quilting supplies you need?

isn't it good news to realize that you have the self-discipline to not buy something you don't need just because it's on sale?

Agreed, I would love to stay home today and piddled around the house and spend some time in my sewing room! However, someone has to hold down the fort at the office today and it is me! Get off early, coming straight home, no way am I am going to attempt to make a stop at any of those stores as much as I would love to stop by my favorite shops! I really don't need to spend anything right now!

I do have to buy some gifts but of course, those are not the ones on sale, so it doesn't matter if I go today or tomorrow or next week.

Besides, it's raining now and I prefer not to shop in the rain. All the new things get wet and it makes me sad.

Better to stay home, make a batch of chocolate chip cookies and sew.

    How am I doing.... 8)

The only thing I plan to buy is the background/backing/sashing fabric for my DJ....other than that...I need to use up stash. I'm going to try to find the fabric this weekend. I hate to do it on line...I'd rather touch it when I need to buy 20+ yrds...
