I had pulled out a quilting book recently, published by Lehman publications, and as I flipped through the pages they began to fall out in my hands! This irked me, as I had only opened this book to look through it maybe half a dozen times since I bought it. I found the address of Lehman Bros. inside the front cover, and mailed the book to them, asking them to repair or replace it for me.
Today I got a big package with my book back and several other titles. In it was a nice letter from Jane Flynn with Creative Crafts Group, which publishes Quilters magazine. She told me that Lehman went out of business and my book ended up with her. She couldn't replace it, so she sent it back with several other books she thought I might like!
What a nice thing to do, and so rare these days. I just wanted to share this most excellent gesture with my quilting buddies and urge everyone to consider doing business with this company. This is customer relations, above and way beyond the call of duty. :D
