Oh I personally do like the green in there but this isn't for me so I just want to get it right.

I think that is such a smart decision. You are probably disappointed after working so hard on the design with the green. But so much better to change it now. Just think how disappointing it would be to present such a gift and have your son tell you isn't the right colors.

ok I googled the team's pictures and you are right they do have lots of purple and white with a bit of gold so I redrew up my quilt to see what you might think.

The new picture is FABULOUS!!! Now that is a quilt that will be cherished and displayed!

I vote for 2 but my son in law is a great viking fan he would take any of them I just went and looked at the new one that is great Good work

I'd switch out the viking with a packer :)----Like the third setting the best.

I really hate for you to have to start over!!! I do like the new picture though - could you use the purple behind the vikings head and still use the blocks you made? Just a thought.

Being from Minnesota & a fan of the Vikes, I say #1. I would leave the white but add a small purple border framing it . Something like white, purple, the larger white. Not fond of so much green. When you finish you send a picture of it to the Vikes. Maybe there would be something in it for you :)

I am a newbie to this site. I have been reading the forum for sometime but have never gave my opinion or thoughts on subjects. I really like #3 but if you have some of the light green I think that would be better. Would be a little crisper but not as bright as the white. Beautiful quilt, whatever you choose will look good.
